Pastor Lee was born in 1955 and is the eldest of four, two sisters and a brother. He is a graduate of Mount Vernon High School (1973) Mount Vernon Nazarene College with a BA in Literature and Philosophy, and Nazarene Theological Seminary (M. Div. 1986). He pursued graduate studies in City Planning at OSU, he is a member at Epworth UMC, a certified lay speaker and is enrolled in the candidacy for ministry process of the UMC.

Lee has been married to Audra since 2004. Audra is a graduate of Kenyon College (BA 2001) and has done graduate work at OSU. She is active on the Gambier Village Council, Rotary, Habitat for Humanity, and the Sierra Club. Audra aspires to be a nurse practitioner some day.

Lee has two sons from a previous marriage, Alexander (15) and Ian (20). He is presently employed as a carpenter. He is a member of the Gambier City Council, Chair of Streets and Utilities and a member or the Regional Planning Commission. He was also Construction Coordinator - Habitat for Humanity and Pastor of the New Freedom Church of the Nazarene.
